NEW DELHI: Class 10 students appeared for the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) science exam today, March 4. The CBSE Class 10 science exam was held from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm. Students who appeared for the science exam today found the paper to be of easy to moderate level.

As students were provided with an additional 15 minutes question paper reading time, it was advised that they reach the exam hall as per the reporting time. Students had to carry CBSE Class 10 hall tickets and school id cards.
The CBSE 10th science question paper had 39 questions divided into five sections. Some questions in the Class 10 science paper also had internal choices.

CBSE Class 10 science paper difficulty level
Saying that the difficulty level of the science paper was not very high, DPS Indirapuram's Ritu pant, Senior Mistress said: "The class 10 Science (086) paper is a balanced one. Students who have studied their NCERT textbook thoroughly will definitely score well. The pattern was similar to the CBSE sample paper and the difficulty level was not very high."

Overall the paper was clear, easy or can say balanced paper to score over 95%. Easily solving numerical in physics portion and simple diagram were asked in Biology and simple equations and formulas were asked in chemistry. The paper was not so lengthy.

CBSE science exam analysis 2023: Section A
The Section-A of the question paper consisted Objective Type Questions with a balance of theory and application based questions. The last four questions of section A consisted four Assertion and Reason Questions based on remembering and understanding of the concepts. A Few numerical question from Physics were also visible in this section.

CBSE science board paper 2023 analysis: 'blended with moderate easy, average questions'
Today's Science paper was blended with moderately easy and average questions. No question was outside of the syllabus. About 70-80 percent of the questions were straight from the textbook. Students could easily finish the paper before allotted time.
Distribution of the question includes uniform distribution of marks including skills like knowledge, application, evaluation etc. MCQ's were straight forward and mostly average. Case based questions are uniformly distributed from easy to moderate and can be answered by students.

CBSE Class 10 section-wise analysis
All five sections in the paper were relatively easy, Nisha Sharma, Science teacher, KIIT World School Gurugram analysed. Here are the section-wise analysis:
Section A: MCQ’s were easy and easily solved by our students.
Section B: Diagrammatic questions were asked for labelling and the level of questions were easy.
Most of the questions were asked in a simple manner.
Section C: questions were divided into parts and asked in a simple language.
Section D: Questions were easy and students were able to solve them efficiently.
Section E: Case based study questions were also found easy.

CBSE science answer key feedback 2023
As per Shweta Rai, PGT Biology, Pacific World School, the science paper of Class 10 CBSE board had moderately easy to average questions.
Saying that no question was found to be outside of the syllabus, Rai said: “About 50-60% of the questions were straight from the textbook. Students could easily finish the paper before allotted time. MCQ's were mostly average but needed a conceptual knowledge. Case based questions were uniformly distributed from easy to moderate and can be answered by students.”
