CBSE reminds schools to submit registration data of Class 9, 11 students by October 16

Enrol NowThe Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has reminded schools to submit the registration data of Class 11 and 12 students by October 16. CBSE has advised to submit the correct data of students, including subjects and other important details.
“CBSE is making best of its efforts to collect the correct data of all students being registered for Class 9 and 11. There is a dire need that schools should be equally responsible and sensitive for such issues, which are reminded by CBSE repeatedly to avoid the problems that schools and students may face in future due to wrong data filled,” the official CBSE notice read.
CBSE is making every effort to ensure the accurate collection of student data for Class 9 and 9 registrations. It is important that schools also take equal responsibility and remain vigilant in this matter.

CBSE Board Exams 2026
The board has consistently emphasised the importance of accurate data entry to prevent future issues that may arise for both schools and students due to incorrect information. Only three days are left for the submission of registration data of candidates, and schools must ensure the data is submitted within the stipulated time and as per the directions issued.
Notably, the board has mandated that the APAAR of students is mandatory with their records and has also revised the exam fee. The schools have been asked to obtain APAAR IDs of students of Classes 9 to 12 so that it is available for them before the registration process and submission of LOC.
There has been about a 6.66% hike in India, that is, Rs 20 per subject, and the practical fee has also gone up by Rs 10 per subject. Also, the registration fee in Classes 9 and 11 has increased by Rs 20 in India.
