Join Careers360 PremiumNEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducted the English exam for CBSE Class 10 students today. The CBSE Class 10 term 2 exam 2022 began at 10.30 AM with strict adherence to Covid-19 guidelines. As per students reaction, the paper was rated easy, balanced and was set as per the syllabus.

CBSE Class 10 students will now appear for the Mathematics exam on May 5, 2022. As per the CBSE 10th time table 2022, the board exams 2022 will be concluded on May 24, 2022.
A student of Academic Quality and Excellence at Silverline Prestige School, Ghaziabad said, “Today’s English paper was easy and on expected lines. Children were able to write the paper in time and got enough time for revision also. a) Both the comprehension passages were easy to understand. Direct questions were given from the passages. It seems that they have been taken from some sample paper. b) Writing and Grammar were balanced and easy to attempt. c) Literature section was completely based on reasoning and critical thinking to check the content knowledge of the students and the students attempted it very well. They had no confusion about the clarity of questions.”

Mihir, a Class 10 student at Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Lucknow said, "All of us were relieved when we went through the Class 10 Term II English question paper. All the sections were easy and according to the pattern designed by the CBSE. I feel very confident and hopeful about my performance in today’s exam."
Sangeeta Chopra, a English teacher at Mount Abu Public School, Sector 5, said, "English term 2 paper for Class 10 was quite balanced and set keeping in mind all levels of students. It was moderate and strictly based on curriculum guidelines by CBSE. The data in the factual passage was a bit complicated which might have confused the students."
