NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared the CBSE Class 12 results today for over 16 lakh students and recorded an overall pass percentage of 87.98%. The board has decided not to announce the CBSE toppers list to avoid unhealthy competition, however, it has issued the merit certificate to top 0.1% top scorers in each subject. As per the CBSE 12th results 2024, a total of 24,068 students have obtained 95% and above in full subjects. Last year, 22,622 students scored above 95%. The number of students who obtained above 90% also saw a slight increase this year compared to the previous year.
The board has hosted the CBSE Class 12th results 2024 on cbseresults.nic.in, cbse.gov.in, Digilocker, and UMANG applications. Those students who have been declared failed in one or more subjects can appear in the CBSE compartment exams. In line with the National Education Policy (NEP), the board has decided to allow Class 12 students in supplementary exams to improve scores in one subject.
