Download NowNEW DELHI: The National Testing Authority (NTA) will conduct the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG 2024) between May 15 and 31, 2024. It will hold the Common University Entrance Test Postgraduate (CUET PG 2024) from March 11 to 28, 2024.

The CUET UG and PG exams are held for admission into programmes in 44 central universities, state institutions, private universities, deemed universities, and other participating institutions. The application forms for the exams will be released likely in February 2024 on the official website - cuet.samarth.ac.in.
CUET 2024 UG exam pattern
The CUET UG exam 2024 will have four sections – section 1A (language test), section 1B (optional language test), section 2 (domain-specific test) and section 3 (general test).
Candidates will have to choose one out 13 languages in section 1A and one out of 20 languages in section 1B. They will have to attempt 40 questions out of 50 in each section. In section 2, candidates will have to choose one subject from 27 domain specific subjects. They will have to answer 35 or 40 questions out of 45 or 50, respectively. In section 3, candidates will have to attempt 50 questions out of 60.
Candidates will be given 45 minutes each to attempt section 1A, 1B and 2 of CUET UG 2024. They will have to attempt Section 3 in 60 minutes. Candidates will be awarded 5 marks for each correct answer while one marks will be deducted for wrong answer.
CUET PG 2023 exam pattern
The CUET PG 2024 will have 100 multiple choice questions (MCQ). The exam has two papers – section A and section B. The former has 25 general type questions while there are 75 domain specific questions in section B. Candidates will be awarded 4 marks for each correct answer while 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect response.
