CUSAT CAT 2025: Cochin University asks candidates to rectify photo, signature defects by tomorrow

CUSAT CAT 2025 exam will be held from May 10 to 12. The file size and format should be the same as prescribed for uploading photograph and signature to avoid cancellation of application.

Download NowNEW DELHI: Cochin University of Science and Technology has instructed candidates whose applications have been withheld due to defective photo and signature to rectify the error before 12.30 pm tomorrow. The CUSAT Common Admission Test (CUSAT CAT 2025) is held for admission into professional and non-professional UG, PG courses.

“Candidates, whose application have been withheld due to defective photo/Signature - upload corrected photo/signature before 26th March 2025 12.30 PM,” the CUSAT official website, admissions.cusat.ac.in, read. The CUSAT CAT exam 2025 will be conducted on May 10 to 12.
The university offers a total of 11 BTech programmes - civil engineering, computer science and engineering, electrical and electronics engineering, electronics and communication engineering, information technology, mechanical engineering, safety and fire engineering, marine engineering, naval architecture and ship building, polymer science and engineering, and instrumentation and control engineering.
Of the sanctioned strength, 10% in all postgraduate (PG) programmes are reserved as supernumerary seats for admitting candidates based on the rank obtained in the Common University Entrance Test ( CUET PG 2025 ).
CUSAT CAT 2025: How to upload photograph?
It is mandatory for applicants to upload the recent passport size photograph taken within the last six months. Guidelines to upload photograph and signature are given below.
- A recent passport size photograph should be uploaded.
- Selfies are not allowed.
- Candidate’s face should be clearly visible and should be in portrait orientation.
- The file size of the photograph should be between 100 kb to 500 kb.
- The image should be in .jpg or .jpeg format.
- The photograph should be taken in a light colour background, preferably white.
- Candidates should sign in a white paper and click the image in landscape orientation.
- The file size for uploading signature is between 10kb to 100 kb.
- Both photograph and signature image should be scanned before uploading.
