DEE Assam recruitment 2025 notification out at dee.assam.gov.in; 4,500 vacancies to be filled

NEW DELHI: The Directorate of Elementary Education (DEE) Assam has issued the notification for recruitment of 4,500 teachers posts across the state. As per the notification, the Assam DEE application window will open on February 15. Interested candidates will be able to apply for Assam DEE recruitment 2025 through the official website, dee.assam.gov.in.

As per the schedule, the DEE Assam registration 2025 process will end on March 31. Under the recruitment drive, the 4,500 teachers positions will be filled up in different wings including Lower Primary (LP) and Upper Primary (UP) across the state.

Out of total 4,500 posts, 2,900 vacancies are for assistant teacher of LP schools under the Directorate of Elementary Education, Assam, whereas 1,600 for Assistant Teacher, Science Teacher and Hindi Teacher of UP School.

DEE Assam Recruitment 2025: Eligibility criteria

• Candidates who have passed ATET or CTET (for LP or UP schools, as per the post) can apply. The language 1 or language 2 of CTET or ATET must match the medium of instruction of the school where they want to apply.
• DEE Assam will issue a separate merit lists for each district and category.
• Candidates should be at least 18 years and not more than 40 years old on January 1. Relaxation in the upper age limit will be provided to reserved category candidates.
• Persons with more than two living children after January 1, 2021 (from a single or multiple partners) are not eligible to participate in this recruitment process.
