Download NowNEW DELHI: The Delhi University offers admission to BA (Honours) Hindi on the basis of cut-offs, or minimum scores achieved by students in board exams, that are announced by the colleges affiliated to the university.

The first cut-off list for admission to various undergraduate courses offered by DU will be announced on October 1.
Last year, the colleges with the overall highest DU cut-offs for various BA (Hons) Hindi were Miranda House, Hindu college, Lady Shri Ram College for Women, etc.

The lowest cut-offs for admission in BA (Hons) Hindi in DU are relatively low compared to the other famous courses offered by DU colleges such as BA (Hons) Economics, BCom (Hons) and BA (Hons) English. Mentioned below are the five lowest DU cut-offs for BA (Hons) Hindi in Delhi University colleges in the year 2020.

Students need to score equal to or above these cut-offs to secure a seat in the DU colleges. For admission, a student's marks in "best-four subjects" are considered. The relevant score is an average of the scores the student has done best in. The four must include the score in English.
While the board exams were cancelled in the state due to COVID-19 pandemic, the Central Board of Seconday Education (CBSE) and other boards declared Class 12 board results 2021 on the basis of an alternate evaluation criteria.
CBSE announced Class 12 board results on July 30 and this year, the results have been high with many students securing higher marks as compared to the previous year.

Experts have observed that, as a result of higher marks, the DU cut offs will be higher this year.
