‘Education system should change’: CJP protests in Hyderabad, Bengaluru over NEET paper leak, CBSE's OSM errors

From a viral online campaign to nationwide protests by the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) over alleged NEET UG 2026 paper leak and irregularities in the CBSE’s On-Screen Marking System (OSM), the youth-led protest movement has reached Bengaluru and Hyderabad today.

Demanding the resignation of the Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and calling for reforms in India’s examination and education system, the CJP, during the Bengluru protest , stated that more than 90 students have died by suicide over the last 5 years.

“Cjp started with one thing. A brighter future is our one cause. We are gathered here to ask the government over the accountability of the NEET paper leak and the doubts on the CBSE OSM marking evaluation.,” one of the protesters said.

‘Why is PM Modi not removing Pradhan from office?’

“We also want to know why Dharmendra Pradhan is not resigning from his post and PM Modi is not asking Pradhan to step down from his post. Students work hard to get good marks and a job to support their family,” said another protester.

Notably, actor Prakash Raj also joined the CJP protest at Freedom Park in Bengaluru, demanding the exit of Dharmendra Pradhan.

Another agitator at the CJP protests said: “I am here for my younger brothers and sisters, and especially the underprivileged. I am here to stand for them, support them and ensure that this system has to change. Whatever party is there, we need to change this education system right now."

A week ago, Abhjeet Dipka, founder of the online movement CJP, thanked people who participated in the group’s protest at Jantar Manter and stated that the agitation would continue unless the Union education minister resigned or was removed from office within seven days.
