Great Lakes Institute of Management holds 14th convocation; 452 students graduate from PGDM, PGPM programmes

Great Lakes Institute of Management, Gurgaon, conducted its 14th Annual Convocation, conferring degrees to a total of 452 students. Of these, 285 graduated from the Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) 2023–25 program and 167 from the Post Graduate Program in Management (PGPM) 2024–25.

The convocation ceremony included the presentation of academic and non-academic honours for meritorious students. As per the institute, the highest domestic Cost to Company (CTC) for the PGDM batch was Rs 22.7 lakhs per annum, with an average CTC of Rs 11.85 lakhs per annum. For the PGPM batch, the highest domestic CTC was Rs 21.84 lakhs per annum, with an average CTC of Rs 15.1 lakhs per annum.

Graduates have secured placements in companies spanning consulting, IT, finance, manufacturing, and other sectors. Leading recruiters included Deloitte, Accenture, ZS Associates, Bank of America, KPMG, PwC, HCLTech, Infosys, Cognizant, LTIMindtree, Gartner, Vedanta Resources, Axtria, Oxane Partners, YASH Technologies, Royal Enfield, and Genpact.

Principal’s report highlights institute progress

Vijay Thadani, Co-Founder of NIIT and NIIT University, attended the ceremony as the Chief Guest. Addressing the graduating classes, Thadani said: “In this era of uncertainty, let your excitement be greater than your anxiety, and let purpose guide your journey.”

Jones Mathew, Principal of Great Lakes Institute of Management, Gurgaon, presented the Principal’s Report. He highlighted the institute’s progress, including its ranking among the top 50 management institutes in India by NIRF 2025. He noted campus expansion, growth in research output, and faculty publications in international journals.

As per their official press release, Mathew reminded graduates to lead change rather than merely adapt to it. “He emphasised resilience, turning challenges into opportunities for growth, and encouraged them to think globally while acting responsibly, balancing ambition with ethics and impact,” the press release said.
