NEW DELHI: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the last date for re-registration of the Open and Distance Learning (ODL) programmes today. As per the revised schedule, the last date for IGNOU registration 2024 is August 31.
Candidates can enrol online at the official website onlinerr.ignou.ac.in using their name and mobile number. As per the previous IGNOU registration 2024 schedule, the last date was August 14.
Candidates who need to enrol for the next semester or next academic year of the ODL programme can also apply through the re-registration portal.

The steps for the IGNOU registration process are as follows.
Visit the official website of IGNOU, ignou.ac.in
Start by clicking on the 'New Registration' tab.
Log in using your mobile number and email ID and then click on 'submit.'
On successful registration, proceed with the application form.
Fill out the application form.
Choose your preferred course for admission.
Make payment and take a printout of the page for future reference
The IGNOU fee cancellation policy is briefly listed for your reference.
The registration fee for the IGNOU Admission 2024 is non-refundable.
If a candidate chooses to cancel admission confirmation, an amount of 15% of the programme fee, with a maximum amount of Rs 2,000 will be deducted from the payment.
In case any candidate has opted for a soft copy of the study material, the fees paid will be refunded after deducting the registration fee.
If a cancellation request is received from a candidate who has an available fee exemption, no registration fee will be refunded. Only the development fee will be refunded.
No refunds will be made after 60 days of the admission date.
Before submitting the registration form candidates should have the following documents.
Scanned Signature
Scanned Photograph
Scanned copy of educational qualification
Scanned copy of experience certificate (if any)
Scanned copy of category certificate, if SC,ST or OBC
The size of the photographs and signatures should be less than 100 KB, while the other list of documents should not exceed more than 200 KB.
