IIFT launches one-year online Diploma in International Trade; apply by September 20

NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade's (IIFT) Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE) has launched a one-year online programme in Diploma in International Trade for those looking to enter global markets. Registration for the course has started and the last date to apply is September 20, 2022.
The course will provide insight into global business, investment, trade logistics, finance trade in services and commerce. The programme will also discuss multi-regional agreements and how it relates to WTO disciplines.

Diploma in International Trade: How to apply
- Interested students can register at docs.iift.ac.in.
- The application fee is Rs 2,000 for candidates in the GEN, OBC, and EWS categories, while Rs 1,000 for SC, ST, and PWD candidates.
- The application fee will not be refunded and the last date to apply is September 20, 2022.
The selection committee will shortlist all applications based on the student's qualifications and work experience.

The 12-month programme, which begins in October 2022, will cost approximately Rs 3.8 lakh. The fee covers one-time alumni fees, tuition, and course materials but not the port visits. A refundable library deposit of Rs 5,000 is required at the time of admission, the institute informed.
According to a statement from IIFT, Global Value Chains have gained speed in recent years, making it crucial to evaluate their significance and any effects they may have on international trade.
