Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad is likely to release the CAT application form 2021 in online mode on August 5. The application form of CAT 2021 will be available on the official IIM CAT website - iimcat.ac.in. The CAT 2021 application process is expected to end in the second week of September. The fee for CAT registration is expected to be Rs 2,000 for the General category and Rs 1,000 for the reserved category applicants.

Last year, a total of 2,27,835 candidates applied for the CAT exam. IIM Ahmedabad is expected to conduct the CAT exam for MBA admission 2021 tentatively on the last Sunday of November i.e. November 28, 2021.
CAT Eligibility Criteria 2021
The CAT eligibility criteria have never changed over the years and are expected to remain the same this year as well.

Candidates successfully completed a Bachelor's degree in any discipline with 50 percent (45 percent for ST/ SC/ PwD) of aggregated marks are eligible to apply for this MBA entrance exam.

There is no age limit to apply for CAT 2021.

Work experience is not mandatory to register for the CAT exam for MBA.

Steps to fill CAT application form 2021
Candidates should have the following information and documents ready with them before completing the CAT registration form 2021.

EWS/ NC-OBC/ SC/ ST certificate (if any)
Step 1: Students can visit the official CAT website - iimcat.ac.in and click on “new candidates registration” to generate the login credentials.
Step 2: After generating the IIM CAT login credentials, log in to the candidate's profile/ dashboard.
Step 3: Fill up the CAT exam application form by keying in the required details and upload the documents.
Step 4: Pay the CAT application fee. To complete the CAT application process, a fee of Rs 2,000 (Rs 1,000 for belonging to the SC/ ST/ PwD category) is to be paid.
Step 5: Finally, submit the completed application form of CAT 2021 and take a printout of the same for your future use.
