IIM Lucknow introduces blended MBA for working professionals

IIM Lucknow: The bMBA programme application has commenced, and the deadline to register is August 18.
The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) has introduced a blended master of business administration (bMBA) programme designed for professionals and entrepreneurs for career growth. The application for IIM Lucknow’s bMBA programme has commenced, and the last date is August 18.
Eligible candidates can apply for the blended MBA programme on the official website, iiml.ac.in/programmes/bmba. The online interview process will be conducted from September 1 to 3, and the programme will begin on September 25.
The bMBA programme format includes online and in-person modules offering candidates the opportunity to learn remotely and also benefit from the campus experience, which enriches their learning experience.
“This two-year program will empower the working professionals with advanced management knowledge, strategic thinking, and leadership capabilities, delivered through an adaptable learning module designed to fit into their professional schedules,” the IIM Lucknow statement said.

According to the IIM Lucknow official press release, the programme is divided into six terms and will offer a mix of foundational courses in the first year and elective courses in the second year. The elective courses include strategy, finance, marketing, ITS, operations and supply chain management, and HR, aligned with IIM Lucknow's flagship postgraduate programme. Additionally, a ‘Capstone’ project is also a part of the curriculum to provide a hands-on opportunity to apply classroom learning to real-world challenges.

IIM Lucknow: bMBA eligibility criteria
The eligibility criteria for IIM Lucknow’s MBA programme are as follows.
- A minimum of three years of full-time work experience after graduation
- The candidate must be at least 24 years old
- A minimum of 15 years of formal education (10 + 2 + 3 or 4 system)
- A minimum of 50% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA.
Also, candidates having any one of the following qualifications can also apply.
- Chartered Accountant (CA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI)
- Company Secretary (CS) from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI)
- Cost and Management Accountant (ICWA/CMA) from ICAI
- Foreign degree equivalents must be recognised by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU)
Candidates will be shortlisted based on their academic profile, test scores and work experience, followed by an online interview.
