IIT Delhi launches executive MBA programme for working professionals

Download NowNEW DELHI: The Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi, Department of Management Studies (DMS) has launched an Executive Master of Business Administration (Executive MBA) programme. The registration process for this programme is underway and the last date to submit the online application form is May 31, 2024.

As per the institute, the executive MBA programme is designed for working professionals with at least three years of experience. It offers an opportunity to enhance knowledge and skills, expand professional networks, and accelerate career progression without interrupting current employment.
To get enrolled in this programme candidates will have to appear in the written test followed by a personal interview. The written exam is scheduled to be held on June 9, 2024. The personal interview will be conducted on June 22, 2024. The institute will declare the result in the first week of July. This two-year executive MBA programme will begin on July 22, 2024.
Eligibility criteria
Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 60% marks. However, for scheduled caste (SC), scheduled tribe (ST), and physically handicapped (PH) students, the minimum performance requirement in the qualifying degree, along with any postgraduate qualification, is relaxed from 60% to 55% (CGPA relaxed from 6.00 to 5.50).

Scholarship Opportunities
The department will provide a scholarship offering a 100% tuition fee waiver to the top-ranked student. Additionally, the second-ranked student will receive a 50% tuition fee waiver, while the third-ranked student will be awarded a 25% waiver. First-semester students will receive waivers based on their admission merit list, while for subsequent semesters, the basis for waivers will be the CGPA.
