IIT Mandi launches AI, DS-based integrated MBA through JEE Main scores

Candidates having minimum Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main score (paper 1) required to be qualified to write JEE (Advanced) 2025 are eligible to apply for the Integrated MBA course at IIT Mandi.
NEW DELHI: Indian Institute of Technology Mandi (IIT Mandi) is inviting applications for its five-year Integrated MBA (BBA analysis (honors) and MBA DS and AI) programme for the academic year 2025-26. Eligible candidates can apply for the masters course by visiting the official website at som.iitmandi.ac.in.
The integrated MBA programme is being offered by the School of Management, IIT Mandi, which is designed to provide a transformative educational journey for the students to become future managers and business leaders, as per the official statement.
The programme will blend business management subjects with cutting-edge analytical and artificial-based courses, it added.
“Students delve deep into the business aspects of data science and artificial intelligence across various functional areas in an enterprise. The program facilitates the students to gain industrial experience through a complete semester-long internship working in an organization. It also fosters entrepreneurship by offering access to the IIT Mandi incubation center and a year-long sabbatical option for pursuing serious entrepreneurial ventures,” the technology institute said.
IIT Mandi’s Integrated MBA: Eligibility, other details
Candidates having minimum Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main score (paper 1) required to be qualified to write JEE (Advanced) 2025 are eligible to apply for the MBA course.
Moreover, students will be eligible to apply for the programme if their final JEE Main 2025 score for paper 1 must be equal to or higher than the category-wise cut-off score for writing JEE advance for paper 1.
Furthermore, candidates must have passed Class 12th or equivalent with at least 75% marks (for Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Persons with Disability, minimum marks is 65%). They should also have compulsory subjects such as Mathematics and English in Class 12 to be able to apply for the MBA programme at IIT Mandi.
Admission process
Candidates will be selected for the integrated MBA course on the basis of their JEE Mains 2025 paper 1 scores, followed by a personal interview. The final selection will be based on a composite score computed by giving 70% weightage to the final JEE Main 2025 paper 1 score and 30% weightage to the performance in the personal interview.
“The intake for the academic year 2025-26 has increased to 72 that contains 20 percent female only including supernumerary seats,” the institute said.
