JMI opens evaluation hall to accelerate exam result announcements

JMI: The university is ahead of other institutions by declaring 80% of the results already, in the ongoing admission cycle 2025-26.
Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) has inaugurated a new evaluation hall aiming to accelerate the result declaration process for both entrance and university exams. In the ongoing admissions cycle, JMI is ahead of other universities by declaring 80% of the results already.
The JMI’s evaluation hall is situated on the second floor of the Office of the Controller of Examinations building, designed for observers and evaluators.
According to the official JMI statement, the new evaluation hall is fully air-conditioned, equipped with storage racks and extensive seating arrangements to provide an optimal space for all admission evaluation and other related activities.
The new JMI evaluation hall was inaugurated by the vice chancellor of JMI, Mazhar Asif, and registrar Md. Mahtab Alam Rizvi in the presence of the controller of examinations (CoE) Pawan Kumar Sharma, deputy CoE, and professor Ahteshamul Haque.

Talking about the opening of grand facility, the vice chancellor of JMI said: "I am grateful to the CoE, deputy CoE, and the highly efficient administrative and office staff in the CoE office whose hard work for the last three months, since the announcement of the 2025 admissions, has made this possible.”
Before the inauguration, the JMI’s VC, registrar, CoE, and deputy CoE planted trees in the CoE office premises.
“CoE Sharma lauded the leadership role of JMI VC and registrar under which the University was witnessing all-round growth in all its facets. He further gave detailed information on the ongoing work in the two sections related to the admissions and examination at the CoE office. He also thanked the JMI fraternity, particularly the faculty members, for the timely evaluation of answer sheets and submission of marks, making the early declaration of the results a reality,” the official JMI statement said.
