Try NowNEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Thursday conducted the first shift of Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2024 session 2 exam. Students said that the JEE Main 2024 April 4 exam's difficulty-level was similar to that of session 1 question papers. The maths section was tougher than the chemistry and physics sections, they felt.

JEE Main shift 1 is being held from 9 am to 12 noon. The question paper had a total of 300 questions – 100 each on physics, chemistry and mathematics. Each subject had two sections. Section A consisted of Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) and Section B had numerical questions. In Section B, candidates were asked to attempt any five of 10 questions.
