Through this exam, admission to undergraduate engineering programmes such BE, BTech are offered at National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), and institutions, universities funded or recognized by participating state governments.
Moreover, JEE Main 2024 is also an eligibility test for appearing in JEE Advanced exam 2024 for admission to Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). As per the eligibility criteria, only the top 2.5 lakh JEE Main rank holders will be eligible to appear in JEE Advanced. This year, JEE Adv 2024 is scheduled to be held on May 26.
