NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has concluded the Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Main 2024) session 2 exams for BE, BTech paper today. The JEE Mains session 2 exam 2024 for paper 2 will be administered on April 12 in the morning shift for candidates who have applied for BArch and BPlanning.
The NTA announced that around 12.57 lakh candidates have registered for JEE session 2 exams. Candidates appearing on the April 12 exam will have to download the JEE Main admit card from the official website, jeemain.nta.ac.in. The testing agency reiterated that candidates should bring their Aadhaar card to the exam centre. The exam will be held from 9 am to 12.30 pm.
Overall, the JEE Main session 2 BE, BTech paper was moderate in difficulty level. Several coaching centres have also uploaded JEE Main session 2 unofficial answer key and memory-based questions asked in exam.
On the first day of JEE session 2 exams, the NTA said that a total of 10 cases of use of unfair means were caught using AI tools and iFace verification. Of these 1 case of impersonation and 9 cases of use of unfair means were reported.
The JEE Main 2024 results for session 2 held in 319 cities including 22 exam cities outside India will be announced on April 25. Soon after the BArch exams conclude, candidates can expect the JEE Main official answer key PDF to be out at jeemain.nta.ac.in.
The JEE Main 2024 final merit list and rank list will be prepared by merging the session 1 and session 2 results of candidates. Best of the two scores will be considered, the NTA said. As exams for paper 1 and 2 are held in multiple shifts in two sessions, the NTA will also follow a normalisation method to convert the raw score into percentile and to declare results.
