Try NowNEW DELHI: The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Patna offers Bachelor of Technology (BTech) admission in various programmes including in Computer Science, Electrical, Chemical, Civil, Mechanical Engineering. Some programmes offer admission with specialisation in Cyber Security, Data Science, Power System Engineering etc.

According to the JEE Main last year counselling round 1, the closing rank for the BTech in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) with a Specialisation in Cyber Security at NIT Patna was 20,055 for the open HS category. Meanwhile, the closing rank for CSE in Data Science was 18,845.
The admission to BTech programmes in NIT Patna will be held on the basis of JEE Main 2025, which will be held in two sessions. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the JEE Main 2025 session 1 from January 22 to 31, 2025. The JEE Main 2025 session 2 is tentatively scheduled to take place from April 1 to April 8, 2025.
The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will conduct the counselling for admission to the BTech programmes at the NITs. JoSAA will conduct the counselling process for admission to the institutes through JEE Main scores.
