JGLS ties up with US, Australian law schools to offer dual degrees, mobility programmes

NEW DELHI: Jindal Global Law School (JGLS) of O P Jindal Global University (JGU) has signed an agreement with law schools and universities in the United States and Australia including American University, Ohio State University, University of Southern California, and Bond University.

The law school said that the international collaborations encompass various initiatives, including student and faculty mobility programmes and dual degree programmes. Under the collaboration, students will also get opportunities for postgraduate studies and joint research.

C Raj Kumar, founding vice chancellor of O P Jindal Global University and dean of Jindal Global Law School said, “Our relentless pursuit of international collaborations continues, as we realize, it is the key to open global possibilities for students and faculty members. The legal profession as it stands today and the type of issues modern-day lawyers have to deal with demand transnational and comparative understanding of law, and the perspective essential for developing such an understanding becomes possible only if we are able to situate the global within our domestic contexts.”
