JNU UG Admission 2024: Pre-enrolment registration for list 1 ends today; fee structure, required certificates

NEW DELHI: Today is the last day for pre-enrolment registration and fee payment against first merit lists of undergraduate (UG) and Certificate of Proficiency (COP) programmes offered at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU). Candidates who applied for JNU UG admission 2024 through the Common University Entrance Test - Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2024 can block seats and pay the admission fee at jnuee.jnu.ac.in.
Students will need to use their application number and password to check their admission status. For pre-enrolment and seat acceptance, applicants will be required to pay Rs 268 for UG programmes and Rs 219 for COP courses.
As per the revised counselling schedule, the university will publish the second merit list on August 30. Through CUET, JNU is offering admission to BA (Honours) programmes in foreign languages, BSc in Ayurveda Biology and proficiency programmes.

For foreign nationals, the tuition fee is 1,900 US Dollars per semester for science programmes and Rs 1,500 for humanities and social sciences courses. Students will also be required to pay 250 US Dollars as incidental charges.
JNU Admission 2024: Documents required
Students will be required to submit the following certificates and documents at the time of admissions:
- Enrolment form
- Anti-ragging undertaking
- Central Library application form
- Five copies of recent passport size photographs
- Two sets of self-attested copies of Class 10, 12, pre-university, or an equivalent examination certificate showing the age/date of birth of the candidate
- A character certificate from the head of the institution last attended
- Two sets of self-attested copies of the statement of marks obtained by the candidate and passing certificate/degree of senior school, bachelor’s degree/master’s degree examination etc; or their equivalent examination
- Two self-attested copies of SC/ST/OBC certificate along with original certificates
- Two copies of disability certificate indicating nature and extent of physical disability
- Two copies of income and asset certificate for EWS category
- Migration certificate from the head of institution last attended
- Discontinuation certificate from institution if pursuing studies
