JSSC CGL Paper Leak: Students campaign for conduct of fair exams, new exam date
JSSC CGL 2024 exam scheduled for February 4 was postponed in view of paper leak reports.

NEW DELHI : The Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) CGL aspirants have taken the social media by storm as they are campaigning for conduct of fair exams. The students are demanding a new exam date for Combined Graduate Level (CGL) which was postponed.
JSSC CGL 2024 scheduled for February 4, 2024 was cancelled due to alleged paper leak of the general knowledge questions. Following the exam postponement, JSSC CGL candidates held a protest in front of Ranchi's state library and similar demonstrations took place in other districts.
Among the Jharkhand students' major demands are JSSC CGL exam date 2024, declaration of pending result, conduct of Jharkhand police constable exam, investigation JSSC CGL paper leak by CBI.
The first chief minister of Jharkhand Babulal Marandi extended support to the students. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), he said, “In the last four years, the thugbandhan government of Jharkhand has only cheated and tricked the youth of the state in the name of providing them jobs. Making irregularities in competitive examinations, making unconstitutional planning policy, bargaining of seats, showing power and lathicharge on youth has become the identity of Jharkhand government. Now our young leaders will decide the fate of this useless government…”
A candidate posted, “JSSC – CGL exam should be conducted as soon as possible. Students have become frustrated after waiting for the last 8 years. Chief Minister should take another decision and create hope in the minds of the future of Jharkhand.”
“Soren changed, Champai came, But when will the fate of the youth change? ChampaiSoren youth of today, Tomorrow is the future, future of the country, If you do not provide employment to the youth, is it not playing with the future of the country??,” said an X user.
