Kerala SET July 2024 registration begins; fees, schedule

Kerala SET registration 2024 last date is April 15. Candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 1,000 and SC, ST, PwD candidates will have to pay Rs 500.
NEW DELHI: LBS Centre for Science and Technology has started the registration process for Kerala State Eligibility Test July 2024. The Kerala SET exam will be held for recruiting higher secondary school teachers and non-vocational teachers in Vocational Higher Secondary Education (VHSE).
The Kerala SET registration 2024 facility will be closed on April 15 midnight. Interested and eligible candidates will have to submit their application form on the official website, lbsedp.lbscentre.in. Those who are pursuing first-year PG or BEd will not be eligible to apply for the SET exam.
There is no age limit for candidates appearing in the exam. General and OBC candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 1,000 and SC, ST, differently-abled candidates should pay Rs 500.
“In the case of OBC Non-Creamy Layer Candidates - They must obtain and Produce Non-Creamy Layer Certificate with date between 17/03/2023 and 20/04/2024. Certificates not within this Date limit will not be considered,” it said.

The Kerala SET exam will two papers - paper 1 is common for all candidates. It consists of two parts, part A - general knowledge and part B - Aptitude in Teaching. Part 2 will be based on the subject of specialisation of the candidate at the postgraduate level. There are a total of 31 subjects in paper 2.
