KVS admissions 2021: Class 1 admission list to be out after April 30, no test for Class 9

KVS has announced that Kendriya Vidyalaya admission 2021 list for Class 1 will be declared after April 30 (instead of April 23). There will be no admission test for KVS Class 9 admission.
NEW DELHI: The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has extended the KVS admission 2021-22 list release date for Class 1. Earlier, KVS Class 1 admission 2021 list was scheduled to be released on April 23, however, now it will be released after April 30, 2021, depending on the situation.
KVS has made some changes in the Kendriya Vidyalaya 2021-2022 admission process and postponed the admission list release date , considering the safety of parents, teachers and students due to COVID-19.
The official notification reads, “The declaration of Class -1 admission to be done after 30th of April (instead of 23 April), depending on the situation.”
Also, KVS will not conduct any admission test for Class 9. Students seeking KV admission 2021-22 in Class 9, would not have to appear for the test. These admissions will be held as per the priority category system of KVS.
“The Deputy Commissioners (DC's) to decide on the display of the admission list from Class 2 to 9 as per the exigencies of the State,” the notification further added. The admission process was earlier concluded on April 15, 2021.
