Madhya Pradesh Government to open 9,200 CM Rise schools

The School Education Department announced that MP government has decided to develop 9,200 schools into CM-Rise schools in the next 10 years.
NEW DELHI: The Madhya Pradesh government has decided to open 9,200 government CM-Rise schools in the state, the school education department of Madhya Pradesh announced on social media.
“The Madhya Pradesh government is determined to develop 9,200 government schools in the state into world-class CM-Rise schools with all facilities to realize the vision of self-reliant India in the coming 10 years,” the School Education Department of Madhya Pradesh said.
मध्य प्रदेश सरकार आने वाले आगामी 10 वर्षों में आत्मनिर्भर भारत की संकल्पना को साकार करने प्रदेश के 9,200 शासकीय विद्यालयों को सर्वसुविधायुक्त् विश्वस्तरीय सी एम् राइज़ विद्यालयों के रूप में विकसित करने के लिए कृतसंकल्पित है।

The education department added that it will conduct an orientation session on August 24.

The decision to open these schools was taken in a cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan in June. The Madhya Pradesh government introduced a CM rise initiative under which the government schools will be merged into CM Rise schools and will provide “world-class facilities”, as per a report.
Recently, the Madhya Pradesh government allowed reopening of schools for Class 12 in the state.
