Maharashtra State Council of Examination (MSCE) has announced the new date for MAHA TET 2021 exam. According to the revised date, the MAHA TET 2021 exam will now be held on October 31.
NEW DELHI- The Maharashtra State Council of Examination (MSCE) has declared that the MAHA TET 2021 exam will now be conducted on October 31. Earlier MAHA TET 2021 was supposed to be held on October 10. However, since the entrance test was clashing with the UPSC IAS 2021 exam, candidates demanded the rescheduling of the exam.
MSCE today issued an official notice in which it has said that the MAHA TET 2021 admit card will be released on October 14 and will be available for download till October 31.

Objective of the MAHA TET 2021 exam
Maharashtra Teacher Eligibility Test (MAHA TET) is conducted every year by MSCE to determine the eligibility of teachers who could be recruited to teach students of class 1 to class 8. There are two levels of MAHA TET exam. The first is the primary level for which paper 1 is conducted and the second is the upper primary level for which paper 2 is held.
Candidates who want to teach class 1 to 5, they need to appear for paper 1, while those who want to teach classes 6 to 8 they will have to take paper 2. Moreover those who wish to teach classes 1 to 8, they will have to appear in both the papers of MAHA TET.
Languages in which MAHA TET exam is conducted
The MAHA TET 2021 exam will be held in offline mode and the languages in which the entrance test is conducted are-English, Hindi,Bengali, Marathi, Urdu, Gujarati, Telugu, Sindhi, Kannada.
What after the MAHA TET Exam?
All the candidates who qualify the MAHA TET 2021 exam, they will be issued the MAHA TET pass certificate after which they would be eligible to apply for the post of a teacher in various schools of Maharashtra.
