The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has revised the NEET UG counselling 2026 round 1 seat allotment result due to an error in uploading the PwD certificate. However, the number of seats allotted in round 1 counselling remains unchanged. NEET UG Counselling 2026 Live Updates

The counselling committee has reopened the 'candidate grievance facility' till 8 am tomorrow. Candidates who have been allotted seats can submit their grievances, if any, through the login facility on the official website mcc.nic.in/ug-medical-counselling/.

"The Provisional Result has been revised due to an error in the uploading of the PwD Certificate by the Primary Assessment Centre," the MCC notice said.

MCC has allotted 29,945 MBBS and BDS seats in the NEET UG 2026 round 1 result. Candidates can access the NEET UG counselling 2026 round 1 seat allotment result PDF from the official website.

Candidates who have not been allotted a seat in private or government medical colleges in round 1 of the NEET UG counselling 2026 can fill in their preferences for subsequent rounds of UG counselling.

This year, the National Medical Commission (NMC) has revised the rules for PwBD admission . The medical assessment boards inspecting the eligibility of PwBD candidates for MBBS admissions will have to submit detailed written orders, which can also be challenged by the students before an authority under the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
