NEW DELHI: The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG 2024) registration process expected to begin tonight or tomorrow morning, as per reports. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will open the NEET UG 2024 application form window for admission to MBBS, BDS and other medical courses on the official website, neet.nta.nic.in 2024. The NTA is also expected to launch a new NEET UG 2024 portal. Aspirants who wish to appear for the single-largest medical entrance exam will be able to check the NEET UG latest updates 2024 here or on the NTA official website, nta.ac.in.
Last year, the NTA saw a record number of over 20 lakh registrations for NEET exam for admission to MBBS, BDS, BSc Nursing, AYUSH and veterinary courses. As per the earlier announcement, the NEET UG exam date 2024 is May 5.

The National Medical Commission (NMC) notified the revised NEET UG syllabus 2024 a few months earlier. This year, it has also included topics that are not covered in NCERT textbooks but in Maharashtra, Bihar, Jammu and Kashmir, Nagaland and National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) boards, the NTA said while answering frequently answered questions (FAQs).
The NMC has also revised the NEET UG eligibility criteria allowing students who have studied physics, chemistry, biology, or biotechnology as additional subjects in Class 12 to also appear for the exam.
