NIIT University offers scholarships based on CUET scores 2022; eligibility

Eligibility for NU scholarships for BTech, MSc courses will be based on the average of best two from physics, chemistry, mathematics and biology.
NEW DELHI: National Institute of Information Technology (NIIT) University has announced scholarships based on CUET scores 2022 for various programmes offered through Common University Entrance Test. NIIT University is among the 18 private universities that recognize the CUET scores.
Students will have to upload their CUET scorecard to apply for the stream of their interest and avail scholarships based on eligibility. The eligibility criteria to avail the scholarship for BBA and iMBA courses will be based on the best two from English, general test and mathematics.
The NIIT University scholarship will be offered to candidates applying for BTech in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), electronics and communication engineering (ECE), data science, computer science, biotechnology, integrated MSc in Computer Science based on the average of best two from physics, chemistry, mathematics and biology (PCMB).

The institute said, “To recognise and encourage meritorious students NU offers various scholarships such as NU scholar search programme, special scholarship, scholarship for co-curricular excellence (CoX), and special fee waiver. NU believes in providing financial aid to students based on their academic merit by offering fee waivers ranging from Rs 50,000 - Rs 2,00,000 on the tuition fee.” Eligible students will also be able to apply for full waiver on their tuition fees.
NIIT University president Rajesh Khanna said, “We believe CUET is a very positive step in providing equal opportunities to students from various boards across the country. To encourage students who scored well in CUET we are offering scholarships on various programs. We are committed to help students carve a recession proof career in today’s dynamic economy.”
