NEW DELHI:
The National Testing Agency (NTA) will announce a rationalised syllabus for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2024 next week. As per the reports, the registration for NEET UG 2024 will commence from January 24.

Candidates appearing for the medical entrance test for admission to undergraduate courses will be able register through the official website, neet.nta.nic.in.
The NEET UG 2024 is scheduled to be held on May 5 at various exam centres across the country. According to NTA, the new syllabus is based on inputs from the National Medical Commission (NMC) and after consultations with various Boards which rationalised their senior secondary syllabus during Covid.
“NTA will notify NEET-UG syllabus next week so that it helps students in preparation. It will be a reduced syllabus. The students will be getting over six months to plan their studies for the entrance test,” NTA Director General Subodh Kumar Singh was quoted as saying to TOI.

NEET UG 2024: How to register
Students can follow the easy steps given below to register for NEET UG exam 2024.
- Visit the NEET official website, neet.nta.nic.in
- On the homepage, click on NEET 2024 registration link (once activated)
- Click "I agree " to accept Terms & Conditions of the undertaking and thereafter click on submit button.
- Fill the application form with personal deails
- Pay the application fees and click on submit
- Download and take a printout for further references.
