Applicants will be able to complete the JEE Main 2022 registration from jeemain.nta.nic.in. The exam conducting authority will also release the JEE Mains 2022 date for all four sessions.

Applicants appearing for the JEE Main 2022 can check the admission process to NITs here. The admissions in National Institute of Technology are done on the basis JEE Mains 2022 score. Applicants with valid JEE Main score have to appear for the JoSAA counselling later for the admission confirmation.

There are 31 National Institute of Technology (NITs) in India providing admissions to engineering colleges. There are approximately 23,506 engineering seats offered by NITs through JEE Main 2022.
Admission process for NITs through JEE Main 2022 exam
Fill JEE Main 2022 application form
Candidates first need to complete the JEE Main 2022 registration from the official website. NTA will conduct the JEE Main exam in four sessions February, March, April and May across various exam centres.
Appear for the JEE Main exam
After filling the application form, applicants have to appear for the JEE Mains 2022. Applicants with valid JEE Main 2022 score will be called for the JoSAA counselling.
JOSAA Registration
The next step is to complete the JoSAA registration from the official website. Applicants also need to complete the choice filling and locking to be considered for the seat allotment process.

Seat allotment and confirmation
After choice filling, the exam conducting authority will release the seat allotment result at the official website. Candidates have to freeze their seats by paying the seat acceptance fee.
Document verification
The final step is to complete the document verification for JEE Main 2022 admissions. Candidates need to report at the respective institute with required documents for admission confirmation.
Applicants preparing for the JEE Main exam are advised to check the syllabus for their preparations. Candidates can also refer to the JEE Main previous year question papers to ace the exam with a good score.
