PPC 2026: PM Modi's Pariksha Pe Charcha in January; application portal open

Teachers, parents and students from Classes 6 onwards are eligible to take part in the PPC 2026. The application portal will be open until January 11.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led Pariksha Pe Charcha’s (PPC) 9th edition will be conducted in January 2026. Participants can apply for the interactive session through MyGov's official portal at innovateindia1.mygov.in.
Teachers, parents and students from Classes 6 onwards are eligible to take part in the PPC 2026. The application portal will be open until January 11.
Pariksha Pe Charcha - PPC - is an annual interactive session held by PM Modi to engage with students, parents, and teachers from across India ahead of the board exams. The discussions are mainly on exam stress, mental health, anxiety, and other important issues.
3.54 crore people took part in PPC 8th edition
Registered participants will receive a certificate of participation from MyGov after completing the activity, according to an official statement.
Last year, a Guinness World Record was set by PPC after students from over 245 countries, teachers from 154 nations and parents from 149 countries took part.
“The programme has witnessed extraordinary growth rising from just 22,000 participants in 1st edition in 2018 to 3.56 crore registrations in 8th edition in 2025-a clear relevance and consequent popularity. Along with this, 1.55 crore people took part in nationwide Jan Andolan activities related to PPC 2025, bringing the total participation to nearly 5 crore,” the official notification reads.
The 8th edition of PPC was held on February 10, 2025, hosting 36 students from every state and union territory’s government schools, Kendriya Vidyalayas, Sainik Schools, Eklavya Model Residential Schools, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) schools and Navodaya Vidyalayas.
