PAU PhD 2023-24 admission under way at pau.edu; eligibility, guidelines

PAU PhD 2023-24 entrance exams will be held in December 2023 and January 2024. The admit card will be available seven days before the test.
NEW DELHI: Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) has started the registration process for PhD programmes through the official website, pau.edu. Candidates can apply for the PAU PhD 2023-24 admission till November 28.
They will have to pay a late fee of Rs 1,000 for applying for the PAU PhD 2023-24 admission from November 29 to December 4. The entrance exam for PAU PhD 2023-24 admission will be held in December 2023 and January 2024. The admit card will be available seven days before the exam.
Candidates appearing in the master’s level exam can apply for the PhD programmes but they will have to produce original mark sheets at the time of counselling.
Eligibility criteria
Candidates applying for the PAU PhD 2023-24 admission should have secured an overall credit point average (OCPA) of 7 out of 10 or 70% marks or equivalent in their master’s degree.
Applicants should have also secured an OCPA of 6 out of 10 or 60% marks or equivalent at the bachelor's level. However, candidates belonging to SC, ST and OBC categories will be given 5% relaxation in both master's and bachelor's level.
The PAU said all entrance tests will start at 10 AM on the specified dates. The candidates should reach the examination centre at 9 AM. Candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination centre after 10:15 AM.
They will have to produce the PAU PhD 2023-24 admit card and an original identity proof such as Aadhaar card, driver’s licence, PAN Card, Voter Card and Passport at the exam centre.
