Power Grid Corporation Limited of India will conduct the diploma trainee 2023 recruitment exam on December 5.
NEW DELHI: The Power Grid Corporation Limited of India has released the admit card for the recruitment of diploma trainees. The applicants can download the admit card of Power Grid diploma trainee recruitment 2023 on the official website, cdn.digialm.com//EForms/configuredHtml/1258/86472/login.html.
The Power Grid will conduct the computer-based test for recruitment for the diploma trainee on December 5, 2023. The recruitment is being held for 425 vacancies.
Exam pattern
The written test will be of objective type with each question having four answer options. The candidates will get two hours’ duration to attempt two parts. Part-I will consist of a technical knowledge test (TKT) with 120 questions having specific questions from respective disciplines. Part 2 will consist of the supervisory aptitude test (SAT) with 50 questions on vocabulary, verbal comprehension, quantitative aptitude, reasoning ability, data sufficiency and interpretation and numerical ability. Each question will be of one mark and .25 marks will be deducted for wrong response.
The corporation said candidates who will clear the recruitment exam will be paid Rs 27,500 per month as a stipend during the one-year training period. On successful completion of training, the candidates will be absorbed as junior engineer grade IV (S1) in the supervisory category in the pay scale of Rs 25,000 –3%- 1,17,500 (IDA), it added.

On regularisation, the compensation package will include basic pay, dearness allowance, perquisites and allowance as per cafeteria approach, performance related pay, company quarters or HRA, reimbursement of monthly conveyance expenditure, mobile facility, provident fund, gratuity, pension and leave encashment, group insurance and other benefits, it said.
