PSEB Class 10, 8 and 5 exams 2021 cancelled; Class 12 exam postponed
After the announcement of CBSE board exams 2021 postponement, the Punjab government has also decided to cancel Class 10 exams and postpone Class 12 exam 2021.

: Punjab government has decided to cancel PSEB 10th exam and postpone the PSEB 12the exams. The decision is taken in view of the increasing number of COVID-19 cases. The state government said that the Class 5, 8 and 10 students will be promoted without examinations and PSEB Class 12 examination will be conducted later. Earlier, the PSEB board exam 2021 for Class 12 was scheduled to be held from April 20 and Class 10 from May 4, 2021.

Chief Minister of Punjab Captain Amarinder Singh tweeted, “Amid the continuing #Covid19 surge, it is unsafe for our children to take Board examinations. We have decided to promote all Class 5, 8 and 10 students without examinations. Class 12 State Board examinations have been postponed and will be conducted later once the situation improves.”
The Central Board of Secondary Education's decision to postpone and cancel CBSE Class 12 and 10 exams respectively, has impacted several state boards including Maharashtra and Punjab. For the latest updates, students are advised to regularly check the board's official website - pseb.ac.in. The new date sheet for PSEB 12th exam 2021 will be released once the situation normalizes.
