Smart IGNOU Hackathon 2022 registration deadline extended till February 28
Candidates can submit a proposal on the selected problem statements provided on the Smart India Hackathon SIH-2022 website - sih.gov.in/sih2022PS

NEW DELHI: The Indira Gandhi National Open University has extended the last date to register and submit proposals for Smart IGNOU Hackathon 2022 till February 28. The event is a part of Smart India Hackathon 2022 launched by the Ministry of Education.
“In order to select and recommend the teams for SIH-2022, IGNOU is organizing Smart IGNOU Hackathon-2022 as an Internal Hackathon during February-March 2022. Interested IGNOU students are invited to participate in the Smart IGNOU Hackathon-2022,” said the official website of the university.

The teams selected in the Internal Smart IGNOU Hackathon-2022 at IGNOU to be organized in February-March 2022 will be nominated by the University to participate in SIH 2022.
Who can participate?
All IGNOU students can participate in the Smart IGNOU Hackathon. Each team may have students from different subjects having members from computer science background, MCA and BCA, etc. The students participating in Internal Hackathon will get Certificate of Participation.

Several problem statements for Hackathon 2022 are given on the website of SIH. Interested students of IGNOU have to form a team as per the norms of SIH and come up with their own ideas against the problem statements and submit them to the Coordinator (SIH) IGNOU before February 28, 2022. The selected teams will be invited to participate in the Internal Hackathon at IGNOU during March 2022 in virtual mode.

- Choose Problem Statement for the SIH Website
- Idea Title
- Idea Description
- Idea PPT in PDF Format
- Name of Team Leader and other five Team Members

Smart India Hackathon is an initiative in which school and college students solve challenges and real-life problems faced by various participating ministries and departments and win prizes while helping the government.
Over 45 ministries and departments have announced problem statements and school and college SPOC registration is open till March 26.
