TCS starts job drive for women in IT who’ve had career gaps

Jobs for women: TCS Rebegin is for women IT professionals who have had a long career break due personal or professional reason.
NEW DELHI: Software giant Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has launched a recruitment drive exclusively for women IT professionals who have had a career break and now want back into the sector.
The TCS Rebegin initiative will provide jobs to women professionals, to give them a “well deserved jump start” to re-begin their careers.

“This initiative is open for women professionals from across India, who are looking to rebegin their careers after taking a break due to family/health/education/personal reasons,” says the frequently-asked questions (FAQs) section on the TCS Careers site. “Women candidates with at least two years of continuous IT experience who have taken long breaks due to family and other personal circumstances can be considered under this initiative. The objective of this initiative is to provide an opportunity for women professionals to get back to the arena and nurture their career with TCS.”
Application process
The prerequisites for a job are posted on the TCS Careers portal where . Candidates who want to apply can check the portal to navigate to the rebegin section and apply,
Once they click on ‘apply’, they will be redirected to the ibegin portal where they have to first create a profile. They’ll be able to see the job profiles and apply accordingly. Alternatively, they can write to careers@tcs.com “with Rebegin in the subject line”.
