NEW DELHI: After much delay, the Kaloji Narayana Rao University Of Health Sciences (KNRUHS), Telangana, Warangal has published the Telangana NEET PG counselling 2024 provisional state merit list today. A total of 3,314 have been declared eligible for the state counselling, as per the Telangana NEET PG state merit list 2024.
The Telangana NEET PG counselling 2024 was put on hold due to various discrepancies in NEET PG state merit list and new domicile rule. After 94 aspirants approached the high court, the new local residency norms mandating 4 consecutive schooling years to avail state quota was withdrawn.
Even after the court order, the KNRUHS and Telangana government delayed the state NEET PG counselling for qualified candidates, the state Indian Medical Association (IMA) had complained to the chief minister.
Ten days after the court cancelled the new domicile policy , the Telangana NEET PG admissions 2024 have resumed. As per the revised state merit list, 281 candidates have been declared eligible as per high court orders. Along with this, the university has also notified a list of non-eligible candidates. A total of 30 students have been declared ineligible due to low percentile and completion of MBBS course from other states.
“Any grievances with regard to the merit list can be brought to the notice immediately to the mail Id: knrpgadmissions@gmail.com before 04.00 PM on 28-12-2024,” it said. Students are required to submit documents in support of their grievances before December 28. The final merit list will be notified only after considering the grievances, it added.
