TS Intermediate exam 2021 cancelled; Class 11 students promoted to Class 12, says report

Download NowNEW DELHI : The Telangana government has cancelled the TS inter 2nd year exam 2021 due to the prevailing COVID-19 situation, ANI reported. The decision to cancel TS intermediate Class 12 exam 2021 was taken in the interest of students. Along with this, the government has decided to promote all Class 11 students to Class 12.
The board will prepare TS inter second year results 2021 on the basis of the predetermined objective criteria.
The state government has directed the Secretary of the Board of Intermediate Examination to issue orders for promoting all Class 11 students to Class 12, the report added. Now. Class 11 students will be able to attend their next class.
The board has already cancelled the Class 10 exams in April 2021 after a high-level meeting with the special chief secretary of education, Chitra Ramachandran.
However, the government has announced that the TS inter 1st year exams will be conducted sooner or later and students will have to appear for the exams, the report added.
"Considering the present pandemic situation prevailing in the State, Government hereby decides to cancel Class XII Intermediate public examination for academic year 2020-21. Results to be declared on basis of pre-determined objective criteria. Secretary, Board of Intermediate Examination is directed to issue orders for promoting all Class XI students to Class XII," the government of Telangana said in its order dated June 14, ANI reported.
Earlier, CBSE had cancelled the Class 12 exams amid COVID-19. Following the CBSE board, several other state boards have also cancelled their 12th class exams.
