NEW DELHI: The Department of School Education, Telangana has announced the Telangana Teacher Eligibility Test (TS TET) 2024 exam schedule. The TS TET 2024 exam will be conducted from January 2 to 20, 2025. The TS TET 2024 exam will be held in two shifts -session 1 from 9:00 am to 11:30 am and session 2 from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm.
The TS TET 2024 examination comprises two levels: paper 1 and paper 2. Paper 1 is for primary teachers who wish to teach Classes 1 to 5, while paper 2 is tailored for secondary teachers intending to teach Classes 6 to 8. Candidates aspiring to teach across Classes 1 to 8 are required to appear for both papers.
TS TET 2024 admit card date
As per the official schedule, the TS TET 2024 admit card will be issued on December 26. Interested and registered candidates will be able to download the TS TET 2024 admit card by visiting the official website, tstet2024.aptonline.in/tstet/.

TS TET 2024 exam pattern
TS TET 2024 exam contains 150 objective-type multiple choice questions (MCQs) in each paper- paper 1 and paper 2. Each paper in TS TET 2024 carries a total of 150 marks. The duration of each TS TET 2024 exam paper is 150 minutes. In TS TET 2024, paper 1 covers five sections, including child development and pedagogy, language-1, language-2, mathematics, and environmental studies.
On the other hand, paper 2 consists of four sections, featuring child development and pedagogy, language-1, language-2, and a choice between mathematics and science or social studies, social sciences. Candidates will get 1 mark for each correct answer and there is no negative marking for incorrect answers.
