UGC NET Result 2023: A total of 9,45,918 candidates who appeared for 83 subjects will be able to check the results at ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has revised the University Grants Commission - National Eligibility Test (UGC NET December 2023) result date due to Cyclone Michaung in Chennai and Andhra Pradesh. The UGC NET results for December 2023 session will be declared on January 17 on the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

The UGC NET 2023 result was earlier scheduled to be announced on January 10. However, the NTA conducted re-exam for candidates who were affected by the natural calamity in Chennai and Andhra Pradesh. In view of this, the UGC NET final results 2023 will be published on January 17.
A total of 9,45,918 candidates who appeared for 83 subjects in 292 cities will be able to check the qualifying status from the UGC NET official website.
“Candidates are advised to visit the official websites of NTA https://ugcnet.nta.ac.in/ for latest updates about the examination. Candidates can call the NTA helpline numbers -011- 40759000/69227700 for any assistance,” the NTA added.
The exam was held from December 6 to 19. The answer key along with the response sheet and question paper for all subject papers, except Archaeology subject, was issued on January 3. The Archaeology question paper and answer key was released later. Candidates who appeared for this subject will be able to raise objections till January 10 on the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
As per the marking scheme, each correct response will be awarded 2 marks and there will be no negative marking for incorrect answers.
