‘Notify UGC NET result 2024 expected date,’ urge candidates amid delay in June results
UGC NET 2024 result will be declared for the June edition on ugcnet.nta.ac.in along with the final answer key.

NEW DELHI: Aspirants who appeared for UGC NET June 2024 are demanding UGC NET result 2024 expected date amidst delay in the declaration of NET results. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will declare the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) 2024 result for the June exam session on the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
Several candidates who appeared for the UGC NET exam 2024 held from August 21 to September 5 took to social media urging NTA and UGC chief Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar to at least release a notification on the expected date of UGC NET result 2024.
UGC NET results 2024 will be prepared on the basis of the UGC NET final answer key. The window to challenge the provisional answer key is already over. UGC NET answer key 2024 issued on September 11 sparked a controversy as candidates complained of errors in the history answer key and objected to paying a high non-refundable fee objection fee .
UGC NET Result 2024: Candidates ask for expected date
An X user expressed concern over delay in PhD admissions and said in a post, “Please Release the UGC NET June Re-Exam 2024 results. Many institutions have already closed their PhD admission forms, and more are closing soon. delay in results is affecting candidates' opportunities.”
Another user condemned the testing agency and wrote, “Publish UGC NET results ASAP. You guys are already a failed organisation, both NTA & Mamidala are incapable to conduct the exams. You have already wasted so much of our time. Because of your foolishness,we could not fill forms for HPSC, and other exams. Shameful.”
UGC NET June 2024 cancellation, rescheduling
The UGC NET exam was initially conducted on June 18, however, it was cancelled due to alleged paper leak . The Ministry of Education called off the test, held in a pen and paper mode on a single day for the first time, after receiving inputs on a “compromise” in the integrity of the exam from the cyber crime branch.
The NET exam is administered twice a year to determine the eligibility of aspirants for the award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), appointment of assistant professor in Indian colleges and universities, and for admission into research programmes.
