NEW DELHI: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued the examination schedule for the Combined Defence Services (CDS) 1 2025. The exam will be held on April 13, 2025 in three shifts.

UPSC CDS 1 2025 will be conducted from 9 am to 11 am for English, from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm for general knowledge, and from 4 pm to 6 pm for elementary mathematics.

UPSC CDS 1 2025 will include a written exam and an interview. The written exam will be held for different papers depending on the academy chosen by candidates, such as Indian Military Academy (IMA), Air Force Academy (AFA), Indian Naval Academy (INA), and Officers' Training Academy (OTA). The written test will be conducted offline in a pen and paper mode. The duration of the exam will be two hours and the question paper will carry a maximum of 100 marks.

Candidates who qualify the written exam will be eligible to appear for the Service Selection Board (SSB) interview.
As per the UPSC CDS 1 2025 marking scheme, there will be negative marking for wrong answers marked by a candidate in the objective-type question papers. Accordingly, 0.33 of the marks assigned to a question will be deducted.
UPSC CDS 2025 recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 457 vacancies in various departments.
