NEW DELHI: The Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board announced that the UP Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET 2023) exam notification will be uploaded soon on the official website, updeled.gov.in. As per the data shared by the board, 21 lakh candidates have registered for the UPTET exam 2021.
“UPTET 2023 notification will be released soon. As per the data, 21,65,179 candidates had registered for the exam, out of which 12,91,627 were for primary and 8,73,552 for higher primary,” the Department Of Basic Education said.
UPTET exam is conducted by the UP Board every year. The UPTET exam 2023 is conducted to recruit eligible candidates to teach in the schools affiliated to UP Board. The UPTET exam consists of two papers- paper 1 is opted for Class 1 to 5 whereas paper 2 is for Class 6 to 8.
Candidates who score either equal or more than the cut-off mark declared by the UPBEB will qualify the exam. UP chief minister Yogi Adiyanath had announced to extend the validity of UPTET eligibility certificate to lifetime. Earlier, the certificate was valid for a time period of 5 years.
The UPTET notification 2023 will have details about the number of vacancies, UPTET exam date 2023, exam pattern, admit card details and steps of the complete recruitment process.
