AICTE starts online registration for special scholarship scheme for J-K, Ladakh students
The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has begun registration for the SSS for the Class 12 students for academic year 2021-22.

NEW DELHI: The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has started online registration for the Special Scholarship Scheme (SSS) for the Class 12 pass students of Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh for the 2021-22 academic year, AICTE announced on social media.
“Special #Scholarship Scheme (SSS) for the #students of UTs of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh. Online registration for Academic Session 2021-22 under SSS J&K and Ladakh is being opened w.e.f. 6th September, 2021 for 10+2 students,” AICTE said in a social media post.

AICTE issued an official notification on its social media wherein the details of eligibility criteria, courses, and others have been provided.
According to the notification, only those students who have passed Class 12 from Jammu and Kashmir board or CBSE board in Jammu in the 2019-20, 2020-21 academic years can apply for the scholarship.
The last date to register for the special scholarship scheme is September 15 and students can register at www.aicte-jk-scholarship-gov.in , AICTE’s statement said.

The scholarship scheme was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to help students of Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh to pursue undergraduate studies in colleges outside the Union Territories.
