NEW DELHI: The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has postponed the BPSC assistant professors recruitment 2024. The vacancy was in the Bihar Health Department. According to the official notice, the appointment for 1,339 vacant BPSC assistant professor positions has been delayed till further notice. The BPSC assistant professor recruitment 2024 was announced on June 20.
The BPSC official notice reads, "Departmental letter no 34/2024 to 56/2024 published on 20.06.2024 for appointment to a total of 1,339 vacant posts of Assistant Professor under 23 departments (specialties) in the medical colleges and hospitals of the state under the Health Department, Bihar. -649 (17), dated 22.07.2024, is postponed with immediate effect."
BPSC 2024 Assistant Professor Recruitment 2024: Eligibility criteria
To be eligible for the position, applicants must meet the following educational requirements:
Master’s degree : Candidates are required to hold a master’s degree in a relevant discipline from an Indian university with a minimum of 55% marks. Alternatively, an equivalent qualification from a recognized foreign university is also acceptable.
National Eligibility Test (NET): In addition to the master's degree, candidates are required to have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the University Grants Commission (UGC), the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), or an equivalent test accredited by the UGC, such as the State Level Eligibility Test (SLET) or the State Eligibility Test (SET).

To apply for the BPSC assistant professor recruitment 2024, candidates are required to submit the following documents:
Educational certificates:
Master’s degree certificate and mark sheets.
NET, SLET, SET qualification certificate.
Any other relevant educational qualifications and certificates.
Identity proof:
Aadhar card, Passport, Voter ID, or any other valid government-issued identity proof.
Proof of age:
Birth certificate, Class10th, 12th mark sheet, or any official document that verifies the date of birth.
Caste certificate (if applicable):
For candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC categories, a valid caste certificate issued by the competent authority.
Domicile certificate:
Proof of residence if applicable, especially if applying for reserved categories within the state.
Experience certificates:
If applicable, provide certificates of prior teaching or relevant professional experience.
Photographs:
Recent passport-sized photographs as per the specifications mentioned in the official notification.
Signature:
Scanned copy of the candidate's signature as per the specified format.

Filled and signed application form as per the BPSC guidelines.
