A report by News18 also says that the National Testing Agency (NTA) has finalized the exam dates for the upcoming sessions of JEE Main 2021. As per the report, new JEE Main exam dates 2021 will be announced shortly.
Some of the reports also suggest that JEE Main third attempt date is July 17. However, the NTA has refused to confirm on any date. As per the ministry sources, JEE Main 2021 third and fourth attempts will be held in July and there will be a gap of 25 days between both exams.
Earlier, the NTA announced to conduct JEE Main 2021 in four sessions and successfully conducted the February and March session. JEE Main 2021 April and May sessions were postponed due to the increasing number of coronavirus cases in the country. Also, it must be noted that the JEE Main May 2021 exam postponement notice stated that candidates will be informed about the new exam dates at least 15 days before the examination.
Meanwhile, students are still waiting for the NEET 2021 registrations to start. Due to the delay in the application process, it is unlikely that NEET 2021 will be conducted on August 1. However, the exam is now expected to be conducted in September, as per PTI sources.
JEE Main is conducted for admission to BE/ BTech, BArch and BPlanning courses offered by the participating institutes, while NEET is a medical entrance test conducted for admission to 542 medical, 313 dental, 914 AYUSH and 47 BVSc and AH colleges in India.
