CBSE Term 1 Exam 2021: 33 lakh OMR sheets at over 13,000 centres checked the same day

CBSE board exam 2021-22: The board conducted the first exam of Class 10 term 1 exams for major subjects today.

Check NowNEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has concluded and checked OMR sheets of 33 lakh students of Classes 10, 12 at 13,357 centres across the globe on the same day. The board has conducted Class 10 term-1 exam for social science subject today and Class 12 term 1 exams for 13 subjects by now.

Schools have uploaded CBSE Class 10 answer key at the link given by the CBSE.
More than 21 lakh candidates appeared for the Class 10 term 1 exam for social science while 12 lakh students appeared for Class 12 exams so far, according to an official statement.
The board has conducted three mock tests for the successful conduct of the term-1 board exams, it said.

Students and schools reported the question papers to be balanced, the statement said.
“Hard work has been done by the schools to conduct the biggest examinations of term-1 successfully,” the CBSE said in the statement.
CBSE is conducting Class 10 term-1 exams for major subjects. According to the CBSE Class 10 exam datesheet 2021, major exams will conclude on December 11, 2021 with English subject. All the exams were held from 11:30 am to 1 pm.

Major exams are being conducted by CBSE board while minor exams are held through respective schools. For minor exams, the board provides question papers and schools hold exams for their students. Minor exams were held in MCQ format.
This year, the board is conducting examinations in two terms,Term 1 and 2. The term 1 exams are objective type and students have to mark the correct answers in the OMR sheet.
